Immigration and Customs Enforcement could run out of money as soon as next month amid the Trump administration’s ramped-up efforts to deport unauthorized immigrants.

While there are more than three months left in the fiscal year, one estimate has found that the agency is already $1 billion over budget, according to Axios. Legislators in both parties have raised concerns about the speed at which the agency is spending its funds, which may prompt President Donald Trump to seek additional funds from other agencies to support his deportation efforts.

The scary part is that with this kind of sliding towards fascism …

They’ll probably come up with some weird obscure, illegal, undemocratic way to fund their ICE machine … taking over property, taking control of assets, seizing bank accounts, just generally stealing money from those they can to keep doing what they’re doing.

Look at Nazi Germany … we keep referring to that history … it keeps happening … we point it out … no one does anything.

Nazi Germany initially got direct help and financing from industrial and corporate Europe and North America to get on its feet. How the hell do you think Germany who was forbidden from building a military got to build a massive invasion force in front of everyone’s eyes for years before the start of the first invasion?

Once Nazi Germany got enough power, financing and control of everything … they just started outright stealing everyone’s money, property, bank accounts and assets starting with Jews they persecuted … then they started moving down the line to more and more people, companies and corporations to steal from everywhere.

I mean the US police agencies already have a law in place that allows them to outright steal everyone’s property and have been abusing it for some time now.

But therein also lies the difference. And I say this not to deride your absolutely necessary call for action, but to offer a measure of hope; Nazi Germany was smart enough to maintain good relationships with the rest of the world until they were ready to start pressing ahead with their plans full speed. Trump’s government has the same goals, but fails to even clear the disastrously low bar of competence set by the Nazis. Where the Nazis built international relations, Trump is tearing them down. Where the Nazis used borrowed money and borrowed time to build up their economy, Trump is destroying what little domestic production America had in his hamfisted attempts to make more.

The Nazis got away with it for so long because, ultimately, they were popular, and they were - seemingly - making Germany better. Trump has entirely failed to replicate their success in this regard. Nothing on the scale of the No Kings protests ever happened in Nazi Germany.

The American people can win this. It is not too late to reclaim your country.

with this kind of sliding towards fascism

You are already there, there is no ‘kind of’ about it.
