Science was more elitist and less accessible before modern ethics standards, empowering rich white supremacists to define the very laws of nature. Ethics rules largely protect lower classes and minoritized groups who weren’t considered worthy of consideration before.
Science is only unfun now thanks to capitalist selfishness driving research with what earns money rather than finding actual truth. They only care about engineering science to suit what they think matters.
