Some of the essays on Morrowind are probably too long. Like this one, almost 8 hours.
Actually, let me just add that to the queue real quick, will fit nicely after the 10 hour Dagothwave video…
Why stick to just 1 video? If there aren’t at least 3 audio sources, are you even trying?
I’m gonna need a list of creators for this.
Keyan Carlile - Long form deep dives into Disney shows
Napoleon Blownapart - Does MMA, I don’t even like MMA and i like his videos.
Majuular - Long form deep dives into games
FuzzySlippers - More video games
Dungeon Chill - video games
frootbats - Only a handful of long form videos, but if you want to go deep on fraggle rock she’s got you covered.
These are all great thanks all for the suggestions. I’d lake to add the YT channel Ahoy for long form essays not always on specific games but always insightful. Primarily focusing on video games in relation to firearms history, retro technology, and pop culture. https://youtube.com/@xboxahoy
PatricianTV is my go to for games
Quinton Reviews for nickelodeon sitcoms
Hbomberguy and ContraPoints (also philosophytube but her videos are shorter) for breadtube
are the first that come to mind
hbomberguy’s video essays on games are some of the best content on YouTube
More games video essayists I like : Noah Caldwell-Gervais, Joseph Anderson, eurothug4000, GiantGrantGames (mostly RTS games and challenge runs of said games, but he has a great voice and his reviews are interesting), Mandaloregaming (not longform, but good editing and analysis).
Edgelord special mention : SsethTzeentach. I do think he definitely gets too edgy at times, though it is sometimes funny, but he does talk about some very obscure games sometimes and highlights what makes them original/interesting
If you like how classic Doom sounds, there’s some long-ass playthroughs from Zero-Master (no commentary), Decino (chill commentary), and Coincident (intense commentary).
It me
Game Grumps compilations are a good Ol’ Reliable
