Donald Trump has ordered an investigation into Joe Biden’s actions during his presidency, accusing aides of a “conspiracy” to “deceive the public about Biden’s mental state”.
In this latest move to discredit his predecessor, Trump took aim at the aides’ use of an autopen - a device that replicates signatures which presidents, including Trump, have used for decades - to sign executive actions.
“This conspiracy marks one of the most dangerous and concerning scandals in American history,” Trump said on Wednesday.
Biden slammed Trump’s move as “ridiculous”, saying his claims are aimed at distracting Americans as his administration works to extend tax breaks for the wealthy.
This is purely projection. He’s trying to take people’s minds off the fact that he can’t think well enough to find his way out of a hallway with a line on the floor
Yup, he definitely has already signed stuff that he doesn’t remember signing or wasn’t explained well enough.
The shitbag has to project literally everything.
Another distraction to get everyone looking at his right hand while he does something else with his left.
What’s he doing that he doesn’t want us to notice. What were we talking about last week that we’re not talking about this week. What’s he doing this week that we’re not talking about because we’re talking about robot-clone Joe.
Don’t fall for it. This guy is so transparent it’s pathetic.
Its good at least we will have precedence to reverse everything later.
The hypocrisy of Americans and ignorance of health is astounding.
I hate agreeing with Donald on anything, and I understand that he’s doing it for all the wrong reasons, but I think this is objectively a good thing. It won’t amount to much because his administration is a bunch of incompetent cretins, but after watching Biden’s many public foibles these last several years, I 100% think we the people deserve to know the extent to which Democrats were Weekend at Bernies-ing Biden around.
And, if you’re a Democrat, there’s certainly a chance that Trump’s cognitive issues begin to become too public to ignore within the next three years, and this precedent would be a good one to have in place if that occurs too.
The problem is, though, that the powers of the Presidency are broad, and there is no part of the Constitution that says you can go back and invalidate the actions of a past President. There is even historical precedent for this, because near the end of Wilson’s presidency, it’s been commonly recognized that he was greatly incapacitated after a stroke in 1919, and his wife basically ran the country from then on. (There was no 25th amendment back then, but that can’t be invoked retroactively either) If there was any time when Wilson’s opposition could have opened this can of worms, it was then.
So no matter how much merit you may think this has, if we are a nation of laws then whether or not the President is at his best at all times during his term simply doesn’t matter. Trump is bringing this up now because he knows
-
Biden was actually fit to govern, even if he was diminished
-
Trump has no issues lying to get what he wants
-
If he can get the courts to embrace this lie, then he can get them to embrace others. And thats when the shit hits the fan.
So like so many other things Trump lies about, it’s win/win. If he wins, then he can push other lies to get the unlimited power he craves. If he loses, he still makes the other side spend money, while he can find a different lie to win on.

Why is it a good thing? The dude is out of office, and this is an enormous waste of resources.
Yeah we know top democrats downplayed Biden’s decline. And they replaced him with a younger candidate in response. That seems like a pretty normal thing to do. In fact, that’s what the Republicans should have done with Trump, seeing his obvious mental decline.
Because his dementia was exceedingly public and I’m not comfortable with the idea of a literal puppet president. I want to know the extent of what occured.
A puppet president? And how about the one we have now who doesn’t even remember what he has signed and has said someone else signed executive orders that have been enacted. Complaining about biden’s issues at this point seems quite hypocritical because of what we see in the oval office today
Please read everything I wrote. Thank you.
