    This is weird to me. When we bought our house 10-years ago we were volunteering at Habitat for Humanity. (Because that’s how we got a mortgage.) At the time our manager made us trash any donated faucets because we weren’t qualified to gauge if they met the new lead content rules. (Fuck 'em. I still swiped a few sweet faucets for the house.)

    And yet, 10-years later, you can still buy out-of-spec faucets? Unreal.

      It might just be drop shippers who dump cheaply made Ali express stuff into Amazon marketplace. Amazon has no QA and pretends not to know, yet it just allows everything to be sold there.
