How do you think cult leaders get people to follow them? We’re talking about a lot of people who are very smart, accomplished and with degrees.

If you think very dumb people can’t get degrees you’ve never been to college.

Just because Trump is dumb doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the ability to manipulate a large percentage of the population with his public speaking. It’s more than the public liking the hate because otherwise Desantis would have won the primary.

Okay, let’s say I’m dumb and they’re dumb. He’s still using techniques to put you into a trance to get you to believe what he’s saying.

Now I have to look for that video. Get ready if I find it, I’m posting it everywhere. And yes, I’m implying something. If I go back and forth more than twice with someone, it’s for a reason.

They find willing people who want to believe them. Having degrees doesn’t mean someone doesn’t want to think for themselves, which is why a lot of very knowledgeable scientists keep their faith and religions.

Cult leaders filter out the people who don’t go along with their shit as well. They don’t just go up to random people on the street and hypnotize them to become followers.

That’s true too. I agree with that. I’m one of those. Even now, after all of the horrible shit he does, when I listen to him at normal speed, I can kind of understand what his point is. It’s horrifying.

I have no clue how you come to that conclusion. He is grating in almost every way especially his voice. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him say anything that was genuinely kind… he only talks in absolutes and gives no details. To me that means he’s just pulling shit out of his ass, which coincidentally is what his mouth looks like when he talks. He’s so disingenuous that I don’t know how anyone believes anything he says. On top of all of that he just straight up lies all the time about verifiable things, and even after it’s pointed out to him he still continues the lie.

They’re good orators, and very charismatic. Doesn’t require hypnotism, which as I said is pseudoscience.

Are you for real? You actually think culture leaders are hypnotizing people? This has got to be the dumbest conversation I’ve ever had.
