We’re excited to share that the community has spoken, and the name chosen for the community navigation app is… CoMaps! 🎉
The name is very popular, it received twice as many votes (92 votes) as the second choice option (44 votes), and third choice (37 votes).

The 3rd choice could potentially work. It doesn’t sound unique, but it does carry the message of openness and similarity to OpenStreetMap.
Wonderful news! And I wish I could contribute to the color scheme, but I’ve been told that I should stay far away from choosing good color palettes (and I agree).
