When linking to Imgur you need the file extension for it to display correctly. If when getting the link from Imgur there is any of Imgur’s UI visible the link you are going will take you to that same page. You will need to add the extension to the link they give you. jpeg or png for a still, gif or mp4 for a movie.

I was able to get the link via the website. I added the .mp4 file extension and linked here.
