I’m certain there will be bloodshed. It’s just a matter of when, whose, and how much. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m not going to go quietly.
There are certainly corners here which are more fascist than others, or more censoring than others (for whatever the community or instance “special interest” is), but for the most part, honest observations of what is actually happening and predictions based on those observations are a-okay.
this implies that the vibe overall is fascist, just some places more than others. which i dont think is true at all, i would say the spectrum is more lib to leftist. but no out and out fash instances in the wider fediverse
Well, there is the ugly duckling Truth Social which is a Mastodon fork, but it forgot our common language Activitypub, which is just fitting for a braindamaged miscreant of a social media site.
And it would become defederated within seconds anyway :-)
oh yeah and there was exploding heads, but they aren’t part of the wider fediverse just niche and/or isolated communities (as in literally isolated, no ones federating with them, not just few). Which certainly wouldn’t be the impression I’d get from @Nougat@fedia.io’s comment.
