    I haven’t played it or followed it since the big map rework, so I’m not sure how it’s been progressing since, but I definitely had the same feeling prior to that. A lot of the balance changes around gun vs spirit damage, soul sharing, denies, etc, felt like they trying to turn it into a slower, ability based team game that was more accomodating to MOBA players at the expense of FPS players like myself. Maybe that’s a safer bet in the long-run but I think a big part of the reason the game blew up in the first place was because it appealed to a broader audience that included FPS players, so you had a lot of the big streamers from that genre getting hooked on it.
