    My immediate first thought was the new US embassy being built in then-Soviet Moscow in the 80’s. Since we were foolish enough to contract with the Soviets for pretty much all the construction work it ended up with literally hundreds of listening devices built into it.

    I’m sure this airplane is similarly compromised.

      I was thinking something similar. Listening and tracking of the US President. That is an espionage dream. It would probably be more useful than assassination, as they’d have direct access quite frequently and could sell the information to adversaries if they aren’t interested in acting themselves.
