I’ve been trying to find this song without any luck, I think it’s a 90’s or early 00’s song. I’m hoping it sounds familiar to someone here.

Lead singer had a soft voice, he was singing without energy. There was another male voice with an echo to it in the background periodically when the lead singer wasn’t singing. I don’t think it was saying any words, it sounded like ‘Ehhh…eh’ . Energy in the lyrics picked up at the chorus

I figured out the melody for the chorus lyrics with a piano app, the notes progress tonally downward

Edit for clarity: all of the notes are in the same octave’s and repeat but the last e and b are an octave lower than the first two… I’m not trained in music so this is a bit tricky for me to explain lol
