    I hope it’s not house sparrows, those are invasive pests that attack and kill other birds.

      It’s not, but they get in there anyway. I want finches instead by the sparrows are such bullies! Idk what to do!

        From my limited understanding, you should get rid of the post since the birds you want don’t actually use it. Also make sure the hole is the right size for the birds you want to nest there. Lastly, you should break up house sparrow nests if it looks like they are building one.

    I definitely want to copy this project with my wife next year!

    We’ve got these gold finches that are fun to watch, it would be cool to see them some more.

    Plus this just looks so fun. We did a lot of trimming and pruning of trees last year and have tons of decent sticks for the siding.
