The trick is to go from extreme to extreme and always have “democrat” on the dart board, because there clearly isn’t anyone better to have on it. You should get together with MAGA, you have a lot more in common than you might think.
I do have MAGA friends, and surprisingly, they are substantially more disillusioned than my liberal friends. They no longer support Trump and the Republican party, I just wish my liberal friends caught up and didn’t support the Democrats unquestionably!
Stockholm syndrome goes both ways. 1/3 of the country is not voting for these parties, and the number is only going to get bigger if they keep representing capital and utterly failing at even that.

It’s no longer your choice, so don’t worry, put whomever you want on that dart board. Not even American and the people I interact with through social networks no longer matter even if they are Americans, so that really should be a load off my mind. Really should be focusing on the ways democracy is under threat in mine.
