minus-squareLucky_777@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up13·2 days agoSome cushy sure, but I worked at the VA as a contractor. Most had served their time and were using the skills taught. Doesn’t take long to get Veteran status. Combat Vets are a different animal, though.
