Isn’t this basically how Major Fury from the avengers gets his eye scar? Like the biggest anticlimax ever.

I knew a guy who was raising a Malamute/Wolf hybrid puppy and regularly being used as a chew toy and he got into a skiing accident and when the ski patrol came to scrape him up they were convinced that he was an absolutely massive heroin addict.

have some little ones on my knuckles from recent cats, but my only large scar was from my childhood cat.

RIP Rover, went outside one day and never came back 🥲

edit: I’m just now realizing people IRL probably think I did self harm to get that scar lmao

I lived on a farm. we had about 30+ cats. hard to pick a favorite, but as a farm kid you find them.

one day favorite cat disappears. don’t see them for weeks, turns to months, etc.

five years later, as a teen I go to a party at a friends house. sitting in their basement drinking a beer when a cat jumps in my lap.

I look at the party host and ask if they got their cat about 5 years ago. “yeah, she just showed up and my sister wanted to keep her. why?” “no reason.”

I pet on my cat the whole party and never saw it again.

my point is, just because you can’t see them anymore doesn’t mean they’ve forgotten you.

The cat we have now broke skin when he bit the caretaker from the adoption agency. “He feels really bad about it! If you still choose to adopt him, maybe just stay away from his belly!”

We adopted him. We still go for his belly. No regrets.

    • My current best boy is so good. He’s an orange dwarf Maine coone. He’s 9 pounds and his blood brother is 23. He loves belly rubs and such but if you mess with him during he will fake attack. Fake bites, fake swats claws in, grab and double back foot gentle attack.

He’s the only cat I’ve ever had that hasn’t made me bleed.
