I love Chinese culture and food and history. I have more than a few Chinese friends, from both Taiwan and the mainland. I have a couple of friends and coworkers from Hong Kong who I knew while they had to watch the PRC steamrolling the city from afar and tried to help their friends and family coordinate and escape before the crackdowns made that infeasible, and it was heartbreaking to see. I think it’s a goddamn travesty what the Chinese people have had to put up with for literal centuries - imperialism, followed by brutal military occupation, folllowed by a brutal civil war, followed by an authoritarian takeover by the PRC and a shocking number of extremely destructive and counterproductive policies enacted by Mao and his successors.

But sure; “I hate Chinese people”, because you don’t appear to have one whit of understanding of cultural nuance.

Stop spouting lemmygrad dogma. It’s so tiring. And nobody buys it.

Oh man appealing to your friends to say you’re not racist, so original. Would you say you have black friends with a straight face? I too have Chinese friends, and my wife is from the mainland, I don’t use them to justify my stances.

Lmao quite the opposite. I respect the Chinese people so much that I actually listen to them instead of infantilizing them by saying “I love Chinese people but hate the Chinese government”, as if the Chinese government isn’t made up of Chinese people and supported by an overwhelming majority of the Chinese people.
