Sorry about Hasan yelling over it, but I won’t link to h3

Sam said he’d join Hamas and pick up a weapon if he was Palestinian, Ethan said he agrees with everything but the genocide was an inevitable response and therefore Hamas’ fault and also remember Hasan

Then Sam said I don’t care about Hasan, give me a weapon

gonna be honest, I can’t stand to listen to ethan for more than 15 seconds at a time or my nose starts to bleed and my vision starts fading, so I will not be trudging through this hour-long gripefest

but I will say, Sam is my favorite Lib and I love watching the videos where weird libertarians will call into his show and rattle off nonsense talking points at him, those are fun

I stopped watching after Michael Brooks died and Jaime left. He’s gotten way too fucking lib since then and I suspect it’s part of why Peck left (also that day Sam blew up on her over Iraq and not listening to what she was actually saying).

No, quite the opposite. He was fired from MSNBC for speaking out against the war from day 1 and always questioned the claims of WMDs, only to be proven right when Colin Powell said there never were WMDs. So the topic of Iraq comes up, which is always something Seder is pissed about because it ended his career, and Jaime Peck was doing material analysis. She was in the middle of making a point about how the Bush admin justified the war to project power over the region when Seder blew up on her, thinking she said “the war was justified.” He wouldn’t let her finish and even the comments/chat were like “What the fuck. Let the anarkiddie speak. She has a valid point.” Sam eventually moved on to the next topic, but didn’t apologize after it became clear he misunderstood.

Michael Brooks died a little while later, so there wasn’t anything to keep Jaime there as the show’s only actual communist. Seder never brought it up again or admitted to his mistake.
