I think most countries are involved in illicit organ purchases. Of course it’s presented as ethical, but in actuality, not so much. Organs are often harvested while people are alive, without anesthesia, and a lot of times from prisoners, from what I have read. I’ll have to archive this article for reading, the required cookies are intrusive.
