I think a lot of ground can be gained by being nü-atheists but for the empire instead of religion. Liberals will say “colonialism, imperialism, neo liberalism” this and that, using all the right words, so why are you trying to save that shit by voting for Democrats?

Liberals respond better to smugness than bullying. Just lord it over them and wait a few months to be right about something (as always). To well-meaning libs, don’t be mean, just have the “that’s ridiculous, fundie, but you’ll figure it out, bless your heart” attitude and it’ll work itself out.
