Looney Tunes were created for all ages.

      Legos are ages 3-99+

Paint doesn’t have an age range.

Anyone who thinks those things are restricted to children are misinformed.

Finger painting sounds like incredible fun, but I still remember one of the first finger painting works I ever made as a child, which was alternating blotches of red and green that looked satisfying to me. The teacher said, “Oh, a Christmas plant!” which was a completely uninformed assessment because in reality it represented nothing but pretty colors. It was the first time I knew what it felt like to create something that was misunderstood by the viewer.

What I’m saying is, I know how David Lynch often felt.
