Or encrypt your disk and pull the power cord or use a dead man’s switch in the event of a raid. In the US, and most countries for that matter, if you delete anything on your computer, that would be a crime. Encryption, however, is not. In the EU, some places have key disclosures laws so destruction could be better, though also illegal. That said, I’m not a lawyer. If someone decides destruction is needed over encryption, they should not be using windows.
