The animation for clan bat was so cool, but one of the real standouts to me was the police zaku just on the street. This society must be truly terrible to live in.

Definitely. Someone should break it to the kid that his Gundam’s haunted.
This trope is getting pretty common in Gundam. I will only be surprised if there’s another reason for it (e.g. it is an AI that gained sentience, Shuji is just schizophrenic, etc)
