Hello dear friend, such a pleasure to meet again. I do hope you are doing well! Are you ready for your concert or has it already been had? Internet time is weird. Regular time has been weird, too. I have an early start tomorrow, please know you and your wonderful fiance and your families are often in my thoughts. Wishing you the very best restorative sleep, tonight and a day as amazing as you, tomorrow!

I appreciate your kind thoughts! I’ve been feeling overwhelmed with music projects, but my teacher says I’m more than good to handle it. I believe it’s May 10. The first rehearsal went good.

The rehab work has been fun so far. I feel I when harder than at my actual job and the animals don’t want to cooperate, and at least one has made an escape attempt on each soft so far. But I get to see some neat things, and I get to be a part of the solution.

Other than that I’ve been trying not to push myself to hard as I’ve got a sinus infection again so I’m all blehhhh.

Get some good rest and good luck with your day!

Always a pleasure to converse with you. 🙂

Prepping for a performance always felt that way, when I was doing it. Are you able to forget everything but the music when playing? “Becoming one with the piano” I guess, lol.

Animals very much will test new handlers, so I think as they get to know you and you their individual personality quirks, it will get easier. They’re still wild animals, though, and instinct is strong. They’ll also test you to see if you’re paying attention, once familiar with each other, so there’s that.

Sorry about sinus infection. They are not fun. My adult child and partner have been dealing with some sort of ick all week. I told them savory herbs and pungent spices, along with C and zinc, plenty of fluids, but I’m sure you already know these things. Fresh oregano tea did wonders for me but also moved my guts so not a great idea when it’s necessary to be away from home.

I’m awake 2 hours earlier than I should be. I tried to go to sleep and ended up here after an hour. Like screen time will help it, I’m a goose! Anyway, I’ll try again in a minute, I just yawned. May ten. Hopefully I will remember, this time!

Best to you and yours, as always. Au revoir!

I was able to get into it pretty well, and played well while being able to do a little looking around at the other people, and it kept me more relaxed than having to put so much effort into paying attention to what I was doing the whole time. Unlike a lot of the music, I know these songs really well to begin with, so that’s a big load off already.

Hopefully you got enough rest, take care!

I’m glad you were able to relax. That makes s huge difference in performance. I’m sitting outside with one of my charges, while the other keeps am appointment, enjoying the sunshine. Thanks and be well!
