    So extrapolating, only 75 million Americans would be better off working in a factory? Wouldn’t elevating the bottom give negotiating power to those next to the bottom? What’s the point of this post?

      Nobody is going to be elevated here. What will happen is that republicans will crash the economy and then exploit desperate people in horrific conditions, and that’s assuming oligarchs deign to even bother building any factories in US to begin with.

    20% is still a fuck ton of people. I don’t think this information actually does what you seem to be implying it does. If anything it tells me the majority want them back in the states and a bunch of people would be fine working those jobs.

    I think that we need better teachers, more teachers and better paid teachers.

    I do not want to be a teacher.

    This does not mean there won’t be millions of people who WOULD want to teach it the opportunity was good.
