The military is not a monolith. They are Americans, and other Americans are their family. If ordered to act against American citizens, how many will refuse? How many will obey?

It’s pretty regularly beat into you that you support the constitution and routinely goes over that you can and should disobey illegal orders and trains on how to identify illegal orders in boot camp and beyond on a regular basis
When I was in the reserves we fantasized about getting an unlawful order. So many E4s just itching to tell an officer to get fucked.
