Glorious, indeed! Do they not spend too much time airborne? (I do realise they’re swimmers)
they are basically flying penguins and so basically bad fliers. they need the island cliffs for protection and getting airborne with little efforts

Most birds can glide with their wings, and flap to gain height.
Puffins flap their wings to “glide.” Think of the chickens/cuckoos in Legend of Zelda :P
