Just so you know, this is why they typically target you at your work or in transition to/from it. Most places don’t let you carry firearms or even possess any other items of self defense. You’re also uniquely vulnerable in a stopped car, as you’re restricted in your view, movement, and escape options.
Just something to think about: even if you’re prepared to defend yourself near your home it isn’t enough.

The “good guy with a gun” myth was disproven by Texans letting children die. 2A folks are cowards who don’t get involved. It explains why they are so enthusiastic about “protection” when no one was actually after them and now that there are they hide and assume the status quo.
No one is after the 2A folks (yet, anyway) because they’re still useful idiots. The ‘good guy with a gun’ myth has also been proven, amazingly enough. What was proven false in Uvalde (though it had been dictated as false anyway in supreme court decisions long before) for the public was the myth that the police will come to save you.
