Just finished all of Professor Messer’s CompTIA Security+ videos! Now time to review my notes, make flash cards, memorize them, take practice tests, review the problem areas, then pass that test!

Been jamming with a pal from work and gsve him a guitar I wasn’t using. He took lessons but never learned power chords and also cause he’s a slipknot and prog guy he’s been putting the cart before the horse many a time like getting the guitar professionally set up for drop d which just made it harder to teach him powr chords cause there are now 2 kinds. Easier to play but he wasn’t getting his head around 2 different hand shapes and why. God bless the guy, he’s been listening to discharge and learning their songs as perscribed and intuitive why I sent him disorder is cause it’s how he drums. It is hilarious for me to be tradjing anyone music but I do know how to cut through the bullshit and crank out sick riffs. Learn some bullshit after that. Homie sent a pretty solid recording of a cover of Never Again.

The one friend I have in this city can’t stop telling me she considers keeping indoor cats cruel. Every single goddamn time I talk about maybe having a cat some day she just can’t fucking help herself. She knows I’ve lived with indoor cats before and that I loved those cats. I genuinely don’t know if she just doesn’t notice that she has told me about her opinion about this a dozen times already. I sure hope she just forgets she already told me, because she’s otherwise a genuinely emphatic person so she should know she is only hurting me by basically telling me I abused my pets and will continue to abuse any pet I’ll ever have.

Just remembered this time in 7th grade gym class where the substitute gym teacher straight up booed me and called me names for making a really good play. Kickball was the game, bases were loaded or at least 2/3 were, i know it got some runs in. I bunted, there was no catcher cause it’s kickball, strikes aren’t a thing, no rule had been set for how far you had to kick the ball (until after I bunted). This grown ass adult straight up booed me and called me ‘Cheapo’ because apparently it was a cheap move. I assumed that aside from kicking a bigger ball we were following the rules of fucking baseball. Is there a MLB rule that you can only hit pop flies?

Edit: know what happened when the first guy ever bunted in normal baseball? I don’t but considering it’s still done it seems that history vindicated him if it wasn’t seen as a sick new baseball move in the first place. They didn’t make it against the rules cause it made the game cooler and didn’t fuck things up too much know the other team knew it was an option.

The next year was worse cause I had a broken jaw but still had to sit there and watch. This little piece of shit who had been my friend but wanted to get in with popular kids ran up to about 3 feet away and whipped a dodge ball right at my face. Since he did just literally try to make me need surgery as well as have my jaw wired shut cause it was hairline at the time so I could at least open my mouth and ear soft foods. So…as anyone would I began beating the absolute shit out of this kid. Got suspended for a week. Which was a free week off school cause no way in hell were my parents gonna say I did the wrong thing cause I didn’t.

Finally watch the venture bros movie, I am sad we never got a final season but I do feel the movie did managed to wrap everything up and tie up all the loose ends. I’ve been a fan of that show not exactly from the start I’ll admit but the way it changed over time and found itself glad I got to experience it all

Got admitted in two (as of now) Chinese universities in China for next year!

I’ll get to continue to see the collapse of my country from afar for the foreseeable future, that’s nice.
