MY HOMELESS TRANS COMRADE/FELLOW HEXBEAR USER/CAR-MATE (WE LIVE IN THE SAME CAR) HAS BEEN ARRESTED, AND WE URGENTLY NEED HELP RAISING FUNDS FOR HER BAIL!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HAS DONATED SO FAR, BUT “RACHEL” (THEIR PREFERRED NAME) IS UNFORTUNATELY STILL IN JAIL DUE TO THEM HAVING 2 SEPARATE WARRANTS IN 2 COUNTIES, AND IT TURNS OUT WE ARE GOING TO NEED TO RAISE ABOUT $1,000 ALTOGETHER IN ORDER TO PAY THEIR BAIL, RESTITUTION, FINES AND FEES, AND FOR THEIR VEHICLES REGISTRATION AND THEIR LICENSE.

My friend who goes by “Rachel” (Not their legal name, therefore not their arresting name) Hexbear Username- allthetimesivedied [they/them, she/her], Was arrested several days ago when the police stopped to ask them why they were asleep in their car in a parking lot. We desperately need help to bail Rachel out immediately, as they are stuck in the MALE side of the jail, in general population so their safety is at risk!!! They are trans, as in MTF! Please, if you can afford to donate anything at all, we would be SO grateful. Or even just sharing this post if you can’t afford to donate would help, as well!

Moderator Pinning Rules:

Moderators are strictly prohibited from promoting/endorsing/pinning individual mutual aid requests (especially those of their own) as this creates unfair post visibility and could therefore benefit more from that than the standard user. Moderators caught engaging in this behavior will be swiftly removed from the moderator board with extreme prejudice.

Moderators are allowed to pin and crosspost donation requests for large scope issues such as natural disaster relief funds and bail funds ((Example)[https://hexbear.net/post/16574) along with other crowd or moderator-compiled informational resources pertaining to donating or volunteering (Example), so long as the utmost due diligence is done prior to endorsement, especially in the case of directing people to donate to non-profit organizations.

Financial documents of non-profit organizations available to the public must be heavily scrutinized before moderator endorsement, and links to those must also be included in the endorsement post to help the community make their own decision if they should donate.
