James Cameron says steal weapons from the US military and use them to fight for indigenous rights
I will not be responding to any haters and losers who don’t like the film because theyve confused leftism with being a miserable contrarian
Death to America
The one hour of them exploring the tropical paradise section was really enjoyable. The water navi designs were good too.
I like the whale.
the whale is so fucking based. risks its life to kill literally dozens of yankkkee imperialist scum o7
Death to America
My theater cheered when that happened
same. JC is the only man on earth who can get Americans to cheer for the deaths of us soldiers. he’s a genius
Death to America
I like when the whale fucked shit up
:amerikkka: :kim:
Honestly love that they swapped out unobtanium for sentient whale brain juice so rich people can be immortal, lot less gray (lots of chuds and libs tried to justify humans actions in the last film as “solving” the energy crisis) and more “rich people are fucking vampires and will consume a sentient species to obtain immortality, so for the love of Space Tree God kill them”.
Find these movies unfathomably stupid and a horrible perversion of the possibilities of filmmaking but it’s nice that people have something to like I guess
seriously I can’t believe James Cameron would pervert the possibilities of filmmaking like this, I was blushing in the theater the entire time
i still don’t know if all this avatar love is just a leftist meme or not. i swear the chapo boys were giggling the whole time. never seen any of the movies and i generally like scifi. am i just falling for a psyop??? :stalin-stressed:
They’re hyping it up to a small extent, but it’s also a great anti imperialist movie. Only movie I’ve ever seen where people in theatres cheer/clap for the death of American soldiers
The movies are mostly inconsequential candy. The unspoken principles of the film are leftist and that is rare. So it is enjoying a treat and not having to stress over it being subtitle fashism like every single disney movie. It is just really good low art. People are unused to seriously praising low art so it feels weird. Our instinct is to want it to be more than it is. However it is part of one of the biggest film franchises on earth so this is a good sign.
What is the definition of “low” art? What are the other kinds? Just curious.
