Nah you don’t get it, right wingers are “liberals” to them. In the old sense of the word (“free-market liberal”) anyone who doesn’t want central planning is a “liberal”, they want to be free to so economic activity without a state official’s oversight.
Plus, since they know righties call their opponents “liberals” they think they’re doing a slick reversal or tricking right wingers into listening to them or something.
Of course, they really just actually hate liberty since they are more authoritarian than most of the lefties on this site. But thats tankies for you.
