This is, without a doubt, the most important protest yet. Trump is prepared to enact martial law on April 20th. It may be our last chance at a safe protest.

What are you referring to? This is about protesting all of the Trump administration’s actions, including his unwavering support of Netanyahu’s war crimes and desire to build a billionaire resort in the West Bank.

Wait what?
Trump wrote an executive order setting up the justification to enact the Insurrection Act if the border isn’t ‘under control’ by April 20th.
Within 90 days of the date of this proclamation, the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security shall submit a joint report to the President about the conditions at the southern border of the United States and any recommendations regarding additional actions that may be necessary to obtain complete operational control of the southern border, including whether to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807.

Thank you. Not surprising, that even the government is weaponizing the “fine print” :/
3.5% is the number that experts say cause a “tipping point” to create a trend that can change society. See Mark Penn’s “Microtrends,” or Malcolm Gladwell’s “Tipping Point.”
We don’t necessarily need all 3.5% in the streets, though, although it is impressive to see, and will attract more participants. Those at home, keeping up with the news, pressuring their elected officials, debating and promoting the issues on line, talking to family/ friends/ neighbors/ coworkers, etc., are all part of the 3.5%, and they are making different kinds of impacts that the protests won’t.
Just like they want to “flood the zone” with propaganda and immoral behavior, it’s important that we “flood the zone” with bold resistance.
For sure. 3.5% actively working toward change, whether they’re in the streets or not. But the more people marching the better obviously. Everyone’s free to figure out how they wanna fit into the puzzle.
At my age, I don’t see myself going to a demonstration, but I can spend that same time rabble rousing on the Internet, or calling my representatives, etc. That’s where I can do the most good.
But I truly appreciate the efforts of those in the streets, and I Thank Them For Their Service To Our Country.
Haha you should meet some folks I know ;) one woman is pushing 80 with a cane out there 2-3 days a week
Let’s make it 7%
Good, let these regime whores know that working class is not satisfied
Why not naming “the group”?

Sadly it comes down to, “Don’t mess with is or we’ll stand around for a few hours in big groups.”
First you got to get the numbers. That’s happening. Then you get those people to take action. Doing that out of order doesn’t get far.

Seems like step B doesn’t happen tho.
Be the change you want to see and lead the charge.

You first.
At major highway/stroad intersections, was unfortunately the case in my situation. In a strong red county, it felt ok nevertheless.
