One million trees worldwide are cut down each year to make toilet paper. Is it more sustainable to grow your own?

The leaves are soft and the size of a square of toilet paper. The plant grows up to 2 m tall.

    These wouldn’t work on a standard western plumbing system. The leafs wouldn’t break down on water and would clog the system.

    Wet wipes are bad enough, couldn’t imagine the mess actual leafs would cause.

      At least the leaves would eventually rot unlike the plastic in wipes.
