      Already told you so: bribes. Maybe flattery and groveling from foreign leaders.

        You realize thee Congress controls tariffs, right? They have already introduced a bill stripping Trump of these powers. He said he’d veto it.

        To overcome a veto (or to pass the bill at all) you need Republican votes unless you’re going to suffer until midterms

          De jure, sure, but de facto, Trump controls every Republican since a single tweet equivalent from him can result in them being successfully primaried and becoming victims of threats or even outright violence.

          Trump owns them and they will follow his every kakistocratic whim off a cliff.

          He knows it. They know it. Anyone who’s paying attention knows it. I suggest you join the latter group.
