This is INSANE! Trump is asking the Supreme Court to bless his administration screwing up TO THE POINT THEY CEEDED CUSTODY OF A PERSON THEY DIDN’T HAVE LEGAL CUSTODY OVER and not require them to fix it?
If SCOTUS backs Trump here, literally all is lost. Due process will have NO MEANING if this isn’t fixed ASAP.
Remember, if they did it to this guy the only thing stopping them from doing it to you or me is dumb luck.

The same SCOTUS that ruled Trump has absolute immunity from all crimes committed while president?
Yeah, but he’s going after their power now. The only thing they actually care about.
Oddly enough, the same SCOTUS that ruled he has absolute immunity has ruled against him many times before, and you’ll recall, it was just a week ago that Trump called out SCOTUS in the media.
Not that it makes any of us feel better.
He has already spent 3 weeks in gen pop when he was not deported before specifically because he was targeted by the gangs there.

It is indescribably fascist that this is a SCOTUS issue at all.
There is one right answer here. The lower courts got it right, and I think we’re going to find out either this person has already been killed in the gulag, or the story he has to tell is so horrific that he’ll suffer an unfortunate accident before they’re able to bring him back.
