It’s funny how it’s probably a matter of statistics like if villages are 30-100 people assigned male at birth, and being trans feminine is like 1-3% (trans women are 3% in Samoa where it’s quite accepted) automatically about one per village.
Then if there’s religious ceremonial significance to be trans, an extra trans person might move to a neighbouring village without one etc. That smoothes out the statistical outliers either side (village with 0 and 2).
Then this guy comes and says “oh they must elect one person”
