I remember how the Catholic schools in my area would teach the kids how to read very, very late, and so one day someone came up with a van that says “free balloons” and none of the kids even paid attention until a teen from a random school got a balloon and all the Catholic kids were like “he’s stealing a balloon! He’s a sinner!”
Oh, that’s what people meant. I joked about it because I can’t help but get Homer Simpson vibes seeing someone complain about friendliness without context.
It’s too friendly. Something’s not right.
My experience with UM et al is cavity inducing sweetness of tone while spouting racist BS.
