There’s literally nothing funny to laugh about here… No wonder you’re depressed ;)

In finding it difficult to figure out what I can do as a European… Staying away from American products and saying that I’m never going to the states seems kinda lackluster… I’ve considered learning French or German though :D

I’m not even sure what an average American is to do when people are getting disappeared. The best we’ve got is protest and calling Congress and neither seem to do shit about literal abductions.

I hope I help stop it if/when I see it happen and don’t freeze up. But right now, I’m not where this is happening because I can’t drop everything and travel out of state.

I write and call my representatives. My social group is trying to stay aware and not ignore what’s going on.

I feel that drop everything biz. Having two kids really it’s a damper on it even within state.

I wonder if there’s a way to be ready if that ever did happen in front of me. I feel like I’d have more luck stopping a mugging than a group of masked ICE agents, and even that probably just adds gas to a fire.

The language choices between “nothing sounds like written” and “everything sounds like written”

I would recommendeed the language you would use more often so its not getting lost after learing it

Edit: you could also decide by the way they speak numbers, because booth are crap

Not really using either these days, but suspect they might get more prevalent in the future. German seems more likely as it is closer to where I live, but as I understand there’s more synergy between French and other european languages. On the other hand English might just remain as the primary International language…
