I know this might not be the right place for this but I just thought if any of you are interested in shooting black powder I have created a community here on to hang out on. I was the black powder mod on reddit when it first started a long long long time ago before the enshitifacation.

    Honestly there’s so little activity on the gun communities here I don’t know if splitting them further makes sense. Any reason it can’t be discussed here or on the generic guns community?

      People who enjoy black powder do enjoy other types of guns but I just want to focus on just black powder shooting and gun building in that community. I am just sending out an invite to anyone who is interested. I figured this community is more about modern guns and all that goes with it, in this case self defense against tyrannical government and upholding the 2nd amendment.

        Yeah, I agree with the other guy. These so little firearms related content here that I’m convinced your black powder community would never see a post that wasn’t your own post. I wish there was a stronger gun community here but I don’t think enough of us have been drawn into lemmy.
