We have a temporary glitch with GitHub—probably some contributor was geolocated in a sanctioned region (no details yet). All required documents to unlock the account have been uploaded. Don't blame Microsoft/GitHub - it is just U.S. law. Please be patient. It should be unblocked soon.
PieFed’s repo is hosted by Codeberg - it’s the right thing to do in many ways, but occasionally it’s borderline unusable, and I get the sense that it misses out on potential contributors by not being on GitHub (projects there benefit from the network effect).

I can’t wait for GitLab with activitypub support. Probably doesn’t solve all problems, but it certainly solves some of them.
