In 1995, the first sampler arrived at the Ceebro camp, and suddenly, what had been a monthly hobby turned into a weekly ritual. Homeless Beats 1995 is a beat mixtape release that dives into this phase and compiles some of our earliest music-making moments. The album strongly echoes the underground hip-hop sound of the time, expressed in the audio format available to us back then.
HB95 dives into the early production sound of RPK (then known as Esaar) and how it evolved alongside the experiments of Ceebrolistics. In addition to instrumentals, the album captures the vibe of the era through freestyle raps, spontaneous cassette recordings, and moments of genuine impromptu goof from those early sessions.
