I’ve been trying to download videos from a streaming site that serves them in a very particular and weird way (or at least weird enough so that software like JDownloader and VideoDownloadHelper can’t grab them).
VideoDownloadHelper will spit out an error message, but at least I can use it to grab the URL. I’ve provided one here on Pastebin because I don’t think I should post it to Reddit directly:
As you can see it seems to be an m3u8 along with some token. The videos stream to an embedded player on the site, which usually works and would be fine for me, if it weren’t so slow at times. I’d much rather download it, even if it takes like two hours, and then watch without it stopping to buffer all the time. Any idea how I can get to the file directly?
