For me it’s the fact that where I work the management don’t give a fuck about the staff and the fact that we got promised new equipment which we got but a week later they chained up to a rail so that only one shift can use it.
So let some steam off and talk about it.
The fact that through all this gaslighting and society falling apart the best therapists can do for me is to give me techniques to ignore it all.
Like at what point do we stop making it the job of people who have been broken by this society to fix them fucking selves and control their emotions while all the assholes who keep making it worse are never expected to fix shit about themselves?
The worst literally just shrug it all off and keep being assholes. When the fuck are mental health professionals gonna acknowledge maybe its not up to us to fix ourselves when society itself is breaking our minds?
The gaslighters, abusers, and selfish all just get to keep doing what they’re doing and all of us halfway decent people have to do “better” because of them. It’s literally the same stupid attitude that allowed our country to be dragged into fascism.
Stop making the fucking victims of it all be the ones who have to put in the work to fix anything!
If humanity can’t take care of its environment, then that’s what it is. If we do, great. But it doesn’t look like we can. And yeah, that’s sad—but it’s also okay. Because that’s nature. That’s reality from a perspective beyond just humans. If we can’t sustain ourselves, then so be it. Nature and time will carry on. And that has to be okay—otherwise, you’ll always struggle.
If you decide to adapt this view you will struggle less. Also, it won’t change how you choose to behave either. You can believe this AND care for your surroundings. I still do.

That’s just kind of how therapy works. They can’t fix other people or society for you. The only reason to go is if you need help managing your own shit.
I agree that therapy is dogshit for depression because my depression won’t be fixed by anything internal, but what is therapy good for besides internal change?
