I’ve been busy with !loops@midwest.social since that’s been seeing a lot of activity. The queue is up to almost the end of February, posting every 30 minutes. If you think that’s too much, you should see how much I don’t post 😄

I’ve been particularly worried and stressed about the fall of the USA…I voted for Harris, expecting deranged and cruel shenanigans from Trump. Welp, a lot of his voters are realizing that they made a bad choice. I am trying to stay calm by writing letters to my representatives and signing petitions. Keeping up the opposition is the only way these fucks might be careful. Also, trying to play video games in order to decompress from this madness which is going on in the USA.

This is the way. Do what you can, which actually helps with the nerves bc then you KNOW that you participated.:-)

Agreed, it does help to participate in the way one is able. As a chronically ill person, it’s often from at home and online; this matters, as participation and showing one’s opposition can matter regardless if it’s in person or not.

If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

From the poem by Rudyard Kipling.

Yes, this is absolutely the way. At least, this is always what seems to have worked so far.
