Inside Gaza, cut off from the world by a near total blockade, Israeli airstrikes have decimated entire neighborhoods, leveling homes, schools and mosques. CNN drone footage from Monday showed the level of destruction across parts of the strip, with whole streets flattened in the al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City and a row of destroyed buildings known as al-Zahra towers in central Gaza.

Save the Children said Monday that over 1 million children are “trapped” in Gaza with no safe place to go and warned of the devastating impacts of lacking medication and electricity to power vital health infrastructure in the enclave.

“At least 2,000 children have been killed in Gaza over the past 17 days, and a further 27 killed in the West Bank,” the aid agency said on Monday.

“We call on all parties to take immediate steps to protect the lives of children, and on the international community to support those efforts,” Save the Children said, adding that Israeli airstrikes are “killing and injuring children indiscriminately.”

The majority of Gaza’s residents are literally children…

It’s insanely fucked up that isn’t brought up enough, Israels government wants everyone to believe theyre monsters, but they’re kids who have lived short brutal lives because of how Israel treats Gaza.

It’s safe to assume roughly half of everyone killed in Gaza is under 18.

It’s almost like Israel’s plan is to radicalise Palestinian youths, so more and more grow up to be terrorists with each generation, and they can use the shock doctrine after each attack to kill 10-100x more people, and steal more land, then rinse and repeat until there is no Palestine… Basically genocide with extra steps.

What’s fucked up is there’s a ridiculously easy fix.

If US and other western goverments told Israel if they seize any land, we stop giving them billions of dollars a year, Israel would stop annexing land. Which would likely mean they stop instigating Hamas. They’d have nothing to gain anymore. They’d finally have motivation for the conflict to end.

They’re fine starting wars right now, because they have so much money to burn on “defense” and they know if any actual countries try to help Palestine, then Israel can (and will) drag the West into it and start WW3.

Even if Palestine is completely erased from the map, there’s no reason to think Israel will stop. There’s a very good chance they just start doing this to another neighbor next. Which is why literally all of Israels neighbors hate them.

What is even more fucked up is that USA has zero interest in “fixing” the Middle East.

It should be obvious by now that the only interest USA has in the Middle East is the hoarding of resources.

They want the Middle East to be destabilized so they can continue hoarding wealth. It’s the whole reason they prop up Israel so the fighting and wars continue.

          There are no ethics here.

Mark my words, in 50 years, it will be Jordan, Egypt or Lebanon. Maybe even all three. Once the Palestinian genocide is completed they will start to push boundaries in the name of safety and national security. With US support there’s nothing stopping them as long as Zionists stay in power and move slow enough, they only have to kill more people than the population replacement rate. And in a century or two they won’t even have to pretend and just straight up annex their neighbors. A million things can happen within here and there, but it’s crazy to think that this strategy was devised in the XIX century and it seems to be working.

There’s truths and lack of understanding in your comment. Israel doesn’t want that land. They left that land. They don’t settle in that land. It has nothing to do with why hamas hates them. Israel has settlements in the West Bank and I agree that the USA should hold Israel responsible for not expanding settlements there but the issues with Gaza and Hamas are very different than the issues in the West Bank.

Hamas just wants to kill Israelis no matter the cost. Hamas is mostly a Gaza thing. Not a West Bank thing. NO peace is possible between two parties when one continually shows the desire to eradicate the other. Israel doesn’t want to erase Gaza (or at least hasn’t in the past). They have the ability to and could have done it whenever they wanted. They actively put effort to not eradicate them. They may not treat Gaza well but it’s obvious they aren’t trying to kill them by the fact that they are still there.

And the punishment for this was killing 5% of all USA babies.

        *religious zionism

Zionism is literally just nationalism for the jewish people. The fact that it has a religious brother is because the world decided that a race and a religion are linked. Do all jews want to be jews? No. Can they stop? No. Do all Israelis support religious zionism (which means taking land)? No. Even most of them don’t. Their government and politics are just so fucked up that we have a result of religious zionists running the state. Let’s pray that after this war they’ll get their shit together.

And again, that’s just nationalism. The jewish people (not religion) believe they need to have a home in Israel, and nowhere in zionism are settlements of west bank/gaza are mentioned. That’s religious zionism, which says the complete whole land of Israel should belong to the Jewish people. Zionism is the 48 border, religious zionism is the 67 border.

I see it all the time. Unfortunately, even saying something as objectively true and self-evident as “Zionism is religious nationalism” doesn’t sit well with zionists. That’s how much you people are trying to change the narrative, lol.

#Welcome to the Arab Parallel Universe:

“500 Kids with cute cats killed at a hospital at Gaza by evil Israel bomb!”

“But the terrorists already confessed it was their own rocket short firing?”

“Oops, ok, then nobody was killed and the handful of slightly wounded have already left the hospital. They were also ugly and noone liked them.”

For those wondering, this 2000 figure comes from… The Gaza ministry of health (specifically, a nonprofit citing the ministry of health), notable for fabricating a hospital bombing just last week where supposedly 500-870 people died (which is also turning out to almost certainly be a lie)

What? While the number of casualties is certainly dubious, the bombing was not fabricated. There were many families taking “shelter” (if you can call it that) in the hospital’s parking lot.

Wasn’t it a failed rocket by a separate terrorist group?

The reports indicate the rocket was launched by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a more extremist group seperate from Hamas, but who’s basically Hamas with much less power and effectiveness (they fail a lot). It’s true that Hamas blamed Israel, and that Israel showed satellite images indicating it’s a failed rocket from PIJ. Photos also show that it mainly hurt the parking lot (and without a crater, typical of Israeli ammunition) which means for 500 to be dead, there’d need to be a lot of people in that parking lot for some reason.

Basically Hamas lied. But they’re a terrorist organization, every chance of shock and terror is a win for them.

Reports (Doppler sound analysis and crater analysis) show that it came from the direction of Israel. There isn’t any video of a rocket turning around so idk how it could have been a pij rocket.

Both sides are doing a lot of lying tho, we need an independent investigation on the ground there to really figure out what happened, but Israel opposed that.
