My concept of time is all over the place, but I’m pretty sure I watched Cube 1 and 3 (Zero) this month, as well as finally getting around to Us the other day.

Are you also a spooky movie type for Halloween, or do you bounce between movies and games and books/stories?

We’re doing scary movies (in theaters plus staying in), and a Halloween-themed amusement theme park event (this year is Universal Studios). Happy Halloween, everyone!🍁🎃👻

For my partner and I, I’m gonna make black and green spaghetti (low carb noodles made of black beans and edamami) with pasta sauce, and meatballs that look kinda like eyeballs (meatballs coated with melted mozzarella, then topped with a sliced green olive olive and pimento middle). I’m hoping shredded parm will add a slightly maggoty touch. I might also throw some candy at kids from my third floor window… haven’t decided yet.

I’m the lock the door and turn off all of the lights except my bedroom light on dim and watch shitty slasher movies until I get tired type.

For the past three years, for trick or treat, we’ve been palming pickles and secretly dropping them into the kids’ bags while passing out candy.

We’ve been caught a few times, but those kids just thought it was funny.

The highlight was my son showing me an Instagram post from one of his classmates: “WHY IS THERE A PICKLE IN MY CANDY BAG?!?” 😂
