Donald Trump has said that Palestinians have “no alternative” but to leave Gaza due to the devastation left by Israel’s war on Hamas, in effect endorsing ethnic cleansing of the territory over the opposition of Palestinians and the neighbouring countries.

Speaking as he prepared to host Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Tuesday, Trump repeated the suggestion that Gaza’s population should be relocated to Jordan and Egypt – something both countries have firmly rejected.

Trump claimed Palestinians would “love to leave Gaza”, telling reporters: “I would think that they would be thrilled.”

“They told me something discouraging, so I gave up” is not the excuse you think it is.

But congratulations on deciding the solution is capitalism. Both very American of you.

Throwing money at a problem in order to solve it is peak capitalism, but do tell me how it fits in a non-capitalist system. This should be good.

Huh. And all this time I thought capitalism was multifaceted and not so simple that you could sum it up in one sentence, which is why there are multi-volume works dedicated to it.

            But you’re the economist here.

I asked them what they are doing to help stop genocide, they said giving groups money. So yeah, it is.

I may be stupid, but I’m not illiterate.

I’m pretty sure only I get to decide whether or not my interpretation is “bad faith,” and since they are now telling as many lies as possible about me in this post (claiming I call people, including them, idiots, claiming I think voting is the only thing to do, claiming I think people should “vote blue no matter who,” all easily disproven), maybe I’m not the one acting in bad faith her.

What do you suggest I do, other than that?

No matter how I voted, they’d be getting genocided… so, I sent money for relief aid. That’s apparently wrong, that I put my money where my mouth is, and vote with my dollars like ya’ll liberals say to do…

So what else should I do?

I suggest you stop lying about me, first of all. Then maybe we can go on to suggesting what you can do about Palestinian genocide. But I’m guessing the former is not going to stop.
