That comment has both em dashes and en dashes. Consisting how the rest of that list in it is written, there’s no chance it’s not written by an LLM. At best this means the sub, like much of Reddit, is chock full of bots, but there’s also the possibility that these are real people unwilling to traverse to the ends of their own skull.
Pure conjecture but maybe the tech bros liked them so much they pushed the thing to use them as often as possible. I can’t imagine the training data being filled to the brim with any particular punctuation.

I thought that was weird, but chalked it up to them being the kind of nerd who’d care about using em dashes in a Reddit comment.
