President’s ‘culture war’ crusade targets DEI and LGBTQ+ rights in bid to spread rightwing agenda, experts say

Donald Trump has moved to dismantle diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in government and education, calling them “discriminatory” and “anti-American.”

His administration has eliminated DEI offices, revoked related executive orders, and restricted LGBTQ+ rights.
